HUNT RATES

HUNTING RATE SCHEDULE

Hunts to be booked with a 50% deposit and on a space available basis, (phone for available dates.) All rates based on a minimum number of hunters per hunt. Non-resident hunting license fee and GOABC preservation fund $305.00 Cdn plus species tags in Cdn funds as follows

Non-resident angling license $41 Cdn (5 days) saltwater
Non-resident angling license $20 Cdn /day freshwater
Hunts may include Salmon, Halibut, or Trout fishing.
Non-Hunter / Observer Rates $300 US per day per person
A 6% Goods and Services Tax is applicable to all rates quoted.

Spring Black Bear / Wolf (April10 to June 7): both SCI sub-species are available in colour-phase

Hunt requires low physical ability - no hunting or climbing, conducted by18 ft. skiffs
Hunt includes one black bear and one wolf, and fishing in most areas
Cost $6,500 Cdn per hunter - minimum 4 hunters - 5 day / 4 night hunt, 2 x 1 guided
Cost $7,500 Cdn per hunter - minimum 3 hunters - 7 day / 6 night hunt, 2 x 1 guided
Trophy Fee for second bear on all hunts $3,000 Cdn + $180 Cdn tax + second species license $192.60 Cdn
No T.F for wolf which can be "baited and called electronically or with predator calls"
Single hunters will be booked to form groups of four hunters
Four person maximum group size for yacht based hunts but can be combined with lodge based accommodation available for 6-8
Angling guests can also be combined with hunters at lodge based rates which include guides, boats, tackle, and all meals

Spring Grizzly Bear Combo (April 15 to May 31 ): 1 Grizzly Limit / 2 Black Bear

Hunt requires average physical abilitiy - hiking at sea level
Hunt includes one coastal grizzly, one coastal black bear, and one wolf
Cost: $16,000 Cdn +$960 Cdn tax per grizzly hunter - minimum 2 hunters, or a single hunter may be possible with 3 black bear hunters booked on the same hunt at the rate of $8,000 Cdn + $480 Cdn tax per hunter for one black bear and one wolf, 2 x 1 guided
Additional Trophy Fee payable of $4,000 Cdn + $240 Cdn tax per Grizzly Bear "wound or kill"
No T.F for wolf -. Optional second black bear can be harvested with additional $3,000 + 6% tax TF "wound or kill".
Cougar option with species license TF $2,000 Cdn + 6% tax "wound or kill"
Hunt will be guided 1x1 for grizzly with outfitter also available as additional guide for additional hunters or observers
Observer rate of $2,500 Cdn + $150 cdn tax applies with two grizzly hunters only, otherwise $300 Cdn + $18 Cdn tax per day

Fall Grizzly Bear Combo (Oct I to Nov 15) 1 Grizzly Limit / 2 Blacks / 2 Bucks / 3 Wolves

Hunt conducted along salmon spawning rivers
Hunt requires low physical ability - walking and 4-wd travel to blinds to spot and stalk
Hunt includes 8 days / 7 nights for one grizzly, one black bear, one Columbia black-tail buck, and one wolf
Cost: $16,000 Cdn each hunter - minimum 2 hunters - 1x1 guided
Additional Trophy fee of $4,000 Cdn + $240 Cdn tax per grizzly bear "wound or kill"
T.F of $3,000 Cdn for second black bear - no T.F for wolf
T.F. of $1,000 Cdn + $60 Cdn tax for second buck + $134 Cdn species license
Combo hunter rate of $8,000 Cdn + $240 Cdn tax T.F. "wound or kill" on grizzly hunts -2x1 guided for 1 BB, 1 buck, and wolf
Non-hunter rate of $2,500 Cdn + $240 Cdn tax applies per observer with 2 grizzly hunters
Mtn. Goat option may be possible in some areas until Nov. 30th for $4,000 Cdn + $240 Cdn tax T.F. "wound or kill"additional T.F.
Cougar option as incidental harvest also possible. T.F. $2,000 Cdn + $120 Cdm tax + $246 Cdn species license
Migratory Wingshooting for seaducks available after Oct 7th - requires $17 Cdn license

Fall Black Bear / Deer / Wolf (Sept. 10 to ONov. 30): 2 Bear limit / 2 Buck / 3 Wolves

Hunt conducted along ocean beaches, clearcuts, and salmon streams
Hunt requires average physical ability - hiking, boating, 4-wd travel
Hunt includes one black bear, one Columbia black-tail buck and one wolf
Cost: $6,500 Cdn per hunter - minimum3 hunters - 5 day hunt 2x1
Cost: $7,500 Cdn per hunter - minimum 3 hunters - 7 day hunt 2x1
Second Black Bear optional for additional $3,000 Cdn + $180 Cdn Tax T.F. "wound or kill"
Optional second black-tail possible in most areas - $1,000 Cdn +$60 Cdn tax T.F.
Optional Cougar - T.F. $2,000 Cdn plus +$120 tax "wound or kill"
Non-hunters rates are $300 Cdn + $18 tax per day - can include angling, wildlife viewing
Migratory Wingshooting available after Oct. 7th (requires $17 Cdn license)

Fall Deer / Wolf / Migratory Wingshooting (Oct 7 - Nov 30): 2 Buck Limit / 3 Wolves / 16 Ducks

Hunts are conducted in clearcuts by 4-wd and require average physical ability
Hunts require hiking along logging roads using "spot & stalk" techniques and bait or calling wolves
Cost: $6,000 Cdn + $360 Cdn taxper hunter - minimum four hunters - five day hunt - 2x1 guided - two bucks/ one wolf
Cost: $7,000 Cdn + $420 Cdn tax per hunter - minimum four hunters - seven day hunt - 2x1 guided - two bucks/ one wolf
Wolf - no trophy fee on first wolf, additional wolves T.F. $1,000 Cdn + $60 tax each
Cougar option available - $2,000 Cdn + $120 Cdn tax T.F. + $246 Cdn species license
Exotic sea ducks may include harlequin, goldeneye, old squaw, pintail, hooded merganser, etc.
Upland game option - requires $50 Cdn license for grouse
Salt and Freshwater Angling available as a further option including lodge based fully guided salmon, trout, halibut

Floatplane or water taxi service to M V. Estero needed on all hunts
Custom hunts will be quoted on request if they do not fall into the above guidelines
Single hunter rates and 1 x 1 guided rates will be individually customized and quoted at a surcharged rate.
Group bookings of four hunters or more may be further discounted on selected hunts
Sea Duck hunting available on most hunts after Oct. 7th.
Heli-angling or jet boating for trout, steelhead, and salm on may also be available seasonally
